Paul Dixon and Oliver Phillips started the practice in 2009, having previously worked together at a large regional firm and having identified that there was a shortage of lawyers dedicated to meeting the particular needs of small and medium sized businesses and start-ups. These needs are not always served adequately by larger firms, setting their sights on higher value work or by traditional high street practices, lacking relevant expertise.

By placing a high value on client relations and personal service, our approach is based on finding out what is important to our clients and focusing our advice accordingly.
