Deli Central is the only delicatessen and outside caterer in Wakefield to offer a truly artisan product range and is dedicated to local food and local producers. Led by Tony and Jean Sykes, the team of food lovers bake their own bread & cakes and roast their own meat for the lunch time sandwich rush.
Deli Central is owned and operated by Lee Wilkinson. The public face of the business is the deli and coffee-shop in the centre of Wakefield (where else!) and we are very proud of our reputation for the quality of our homemade soups, cakes, fresh salads and cooked meats. We also have a wonderful range of fresh cheeses, olives and artisan produced jams and chutneys.But our corporate and private hospitality catering, which operates from the same premises, has always been an important part of the business. We believe our success is because we supply top quality food and an equal top quality service, on time and aimed at exceeding the clients’ expectations.This is achieved by understanding what are the clients needs are in detail and then making sure we deliver.
