Debbie Livingston, Psychotherapist

My name is Debbie Livingston. I am a fully qualified, insured Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in the UK. My private practice, in Finchampstead, serves the Berkshire area and is close to Reading, Camberley and Bracknell. I have worked with adults, parents and young people for the past 12 years.

I am a UKCP registered psychotherapist and have a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Master Practitioner in Practitioner Skills in Eating Disorders and Obesity and a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I studied CBT with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

I began working with clients in 1999 and established my private practice in 2001. I have worked with the NHS Eating Disorders Service and am a Network Practitioner for the National Centre for Eating Disorders. I work with the Bridge Pastoral Foundation on their 4 year Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

In 2010, I became the Chair of Reading Therapies Group-a network of counsellors and psychotherapists in the Reading and surrounding Berkshire area. The committee actively promote the furtherance of good psychotherapeutic practice and arrange a programme of lectures and workshops to augment the professional development of its members and visitors.
