Davies Mayers was formed in March 1992 as a result of the break away of a group of Senior Managers from the Cheltenham office of KPMG. The firm started its days with 8 people operating from modest premises. The loyal support of many founding clients enabled the business within a couple of months to move to offices in St James' Square. The next 4 years saw rapid growth, with a number of additional former clients of KPMG joining us, together with a new wave of clients who moved to us from other accounting firms in the area. This growth resulted in a move in 1996 to larger premises at Pillar House where we remain to this day.
