If you´re learning with a friend or relative they are more than welcome to accompany you on some or all of your lessons to get a chance to see what´s required on the day of your test. Don´t be...I´m able to teach you all the elements required to be successful including the new Independent Driving section which may require you to follow a sat nav for about 20 minutes. I teach this using the exact model of sat nav the DVSA use for the test, a Tom Tom Start 52. This means you´ll be fully prepared with all the skills you´ll need to pass that test and go on to enjoy a lifetime of safe driving.
