At Dand Carnegie, Chartered Accountants we pride ourselves on delivering good old fashioned customer service to each individual client. Our dedicated team are here to offer professional, friendly help and advice. Alan Dand (C.A.) set up the business of Dand Carnegie & Co Chartered Accountants back in 1990 with the practice based in Fort Street, Broughty Ferry. By 1996, the business had grown significantly and moved to new bespoke premises at Stannergate House in Dundee. In 2002, Alan left the accountancy practice to concentrate efforts in Dand Carnegie Consulting Limited, a separate consultancy services company that also operated out of Stannergate House. This company was also operating a business recovery/turnaround division and Alan and Kenny Laing then left Dand Carnegie Consulting Limited to formalise the business turnaround division into a new company, Dand Carnegie Accounting Solutions Limited. In August 2008, to meet the needs of the changing economic climate, a decision was made to revert back also to more mainstream accountancy, taxation and business services. A new firm, Dand Carnegie, Chartered Accountants was established and, as the firm required more operating space, it was decided to go back to its original roots in Broughty Ferry. Alan, Kenny and the team are now based at Spalding House, situated in a prime location in the heart of Broughty Ferry.
