We have many first steps in your lives, your actual first steps, your first day at school, your first day of work and most importantly, the first steps you take together as a married couple. As a photographer, I try to put myself into the shoes of the couple as they take these first steps to capture the emotions they are feeling.
My interest in wedding photography grew after I was asked to do one of my best friend's wedding in Turkey many years ago. I loved being the fly on the wall...and it was amazing to be able to capture their special day through my lens. They loved what I did as they felt the pictures I took, looked natural and told the unfolding story of their day.
Natural images are what I capture - If you don't see the true person in the images I capture then what are they worth?
My relaxed manner allows me to catch those subtle un-posed shots and the results I believe are honest photographs full of joy and emotion.
I have a number of years experience covering event's photography around the UK and capturing landscape images while on my travels both in the UK and many countries abroad, and of course weddings where I ensure that not a moment will be missed in your own very special and important day.
