Lester Cruse (Director of Cruse Cleaning Ltd) started the business of window and office cleaning in 1966, buying out his partner after 18 months and continuing as sole proprietor. As contracts increased Lester began employing other people to take on some of the hours and a team of experts was developed. The business continued to grow and at the beginning of 2003 was incorporated as Cruse Cleaning Ltd. At this stage the business still consisted of cleaning contracts for local businesses, but in 2005 Lester decided to move into supplying cleaning chemicals and equipment whilst still maintaining the contract cleaning.
