My passion for photographing people and places culminated in 2008, with the launch of my portrait business – one of the first in the country to specialise in contemporary newborn, children and and baby photography.

As a newborn and children’s photographer (and mum), I am in love with the beauty and innocence of childhood. There is so much to remember about those first few days and years. I love documenting the quiet slumbers, the smiles and the frowns, the giggles and the raspberries, the twirls and the roly-polys. I will never tire of capturing mum and dad’s loved-up (if often tired!) smiles for their new babies.

Forming relationships with my clients is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my job. I feel a genuine bond to my families and enjoy seeing them again and again as their babies grow into happy toddlers and confident children – and as new little ones join the fold!

Originally from Sicily, I moved to the UK in 1997 but have never stopped carrying the warmth and colour of my homeland with me. Both have been a huge inspiration for my natural portraiture. When not found behind a camera, in front of a PC or sipping a fine cup of coffee, I enjoy cooking, reading graphic novels, keeping fit and exploring the world with my two girls and my partner.
