Cotswold Wedding Photography

Alastair Currill Photography is based in the heart of the Cotswold’s in the picturesque village of Bourton-on-the-Water. I founded Alastair Currill Photography in 2015 while studying Freelance Photography at Birmingham City University. Alastair Currill Photography offers many different photographic services from weddings to commercial photography through to photography training. I believe variety is the spice of life and I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in the photography industry.

My passion for photography started back in 2011 after seeking a new creative outlet after graduating with a degree in Product Design from Birmingham City University. I started taking photos with a second hand Nikon D50 camera, which I experimented with to find a style and approach to photography I enjoyed. I began taking photos of friends and family and soon got commissioned for taking a number of family portraits. In 2012 I founded my first photography business Alastair Currill Studios offering family portraiture and weddings. With a growing reputation around the Cotswolds for photography I was accepted back at BCU to study Freelance Photography. I studied a lot of studio lighting and moved into fashion and beauty photography in my studies. During my time I founded Alastair Currill Photography for that creative outlet. However due to the demand and growing business at Alastair Currill Studios I sadly couldn’t finish the course but I merged my two businesses together in 2016 offering commercial and wedding photography.
