As a registered contractor, I will ensure all work complies with building regulations and handle all Local Authority Building Control [LABC] notification paperwork. When necessary, I will issue the customer with an Electrical Installation Certificate, and my governing body [ELECSA] will notify LABC and send the customer a building regulations compliance notice, usually within 30 days of the work being completed.

Electricians registered by Government authorised body ELECSA are assessed on a regular basis to ensure that they are competent and capable of meeting the relevant technical and safety standards, codes of practice and rules of the Government authorised registration body. I am registered with ELECSA as ‘CornwallElectrician.com’ and my registration number is EPP38382. Customers can validate my registration by logging on to ELECSA.com. I am also enrolled on Cornwall Council’s web-based list of registered electricians.
