Core Arts, Martial Arts Group

Core Martial Arts is a West Sussex based martial arts group centered in Chichester with links to Bognor Regis and surrounding towns. We specialise in the martial arts of Southeast Asia with a emphasis on Indonesian Pencak Silat called Silat Buka Lingkaran (translated as Open Circle Silat). Although Silat is predominantly a Malaysian art you will find crossovers to the Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) and Thai arts such as Muai Thai. We also draw on other "mainstream" Arts such as Judo, Jujutsu (Jujitsu), Karate and Boxing to name but a few.

Core Arts caters to a wide variety of skill levels so whether it's your first time at a martial arts class or you already train in martial arts and want to supplement your training (such as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)) there will be something there for you. Silat is a very effective and comprehensive self defence system that will certainly help improve any fitness regime.
