Clear View Opticians, owned by Annabelle Magee (nee Slingsby), is an independent practice dedicated to clinical and optical excellence. We provide a personal service to the highest professional standards. Our focus is providing the very best ocular health assessment and the most suitable eyewear as a result, catering for all budgets. We are NHS opticians accepting NHS and private patients.

Born in Lincoln Annabelle's ambition was to open her own practice for the local community to provide them with the personal, professional and consistent eye care they deserve.

Being a mother she appreciated how intimidating an optician's can be, for children. Her practice delivers the high standards you would expect from an independent practice whilst still being welcoming for the younger family members. Annabelle is happy to test children from two and a half years old.

Annabelle has served Vision Aid Overseas twice. Vision Aid Overseas is an international charity dedicated to transforming access to eyecare services in developing countries. The first time Annabelle travelled to Ghana to provide eye tests to remote communities. Her second trip was to Sierra Leone sharing her time teaching in hospitals as well as providing eye tests to the remote communities.
