Claire's CraftHouse

Thanks so much for taking an interest in me and my work. I founded Claire's CraftHouse because I love making gorgeous things, but as a busy mummy to my two little pickles, aged one and three, and two step-daughters, I struggled to find the time to indulge in my own hobbies. I first learnt to sew when my Mum taught me as a little girl. She's been a major inspiration in my life and when I'm busy creating things she would have also adored, she's never far from my mind and I feel closer to her than ever.

It means that extra special bit of love goes into what I make. So I guess after trying to fit everything in, it just made sense to try and combine my working life with my passion for hand-making beautiful things. And after countless requests from my family and friends for various items, it made even more sense. So here I am!
