The Name Man Lian means from Manchester (UK) to Lianyungang (China) honouring the first students that trained with master Liu who was based in Manchester. The Club now represents friendships formed through Tai Chi all across England under the guidance of the clubs master.
Master Liu Yongs 1st South West UK student instructor formed Man Lian Tai Chi Club South of England in 2005after training with Master Sue Johnson ( British Chen Style College Manchester) and Master Liu Yong at the Man Lian HQ in Lianyungang Jiangsu China.
