Childs Play Day Nursery

Child's Play was established in 2001 and was formerly St. Matthew's Church Hall, which underwent a major refurbishment to meet recommendations by social services and Ofsted. Child's Play is a member of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA). The nursery is a registered day care provider by Ofsted and offer first class day-care for 47 children aged between 0 - 8 Years. We feel that children learn to play so we offer lots of fun activities for the children to take part in which also help them to learn and develop.

A development file is produced for each child showing the fun activities they have been taking part in. This is then linked to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) which is a curriculum from birth to school. We have 12 level 3 qualified staff and also a qualified teacher. We also have a full time cook who prepares fresh meals on the premises daily. We have 5 stars for hygiene and a Gold healthy award from Kirklees for providing healthy meals.
