Chessington Community College

I am delighted to have been appointed Headteacher of Chessington Community College. There is such potential here in all the young people I have seen and I am energised by the possibilities of this new chapter for the College. As a local resident and having worked in the area for over a decade I have a keen understanding of what a great community we have here. As the Head I am looking forward to working with students, parents and local primary schools to get to know the community even better.

We are located in the south of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, directly accessible from Waterloo by train (25 mins) via Wimbledon (12 mins). We do make full advantage of our superb facilities, not just for the teaching and learning of our curriculum but also for a wide range of extra-curricular indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.

We are a co-educational 11-19 inclusive school. We believe that outstanding comprehensive schools are the best type of school to meet the needs of all students. A small number of students have access to some much more practical and vocational courses including hairdressing, motor vehicle and regular work experience.
