Based in Loughborough, Leicestershire, I provide lessons in electric, acoustic, classical and bass guitar and teach a wide variety of styles. I am the longest established Guitar Tutor in the area and I teach a wide range of ages from the very young to the retired.
Hello my name is Roger Wardle and I have been a professional guitar teacher in Loughborough since 1972.
I was an original co-founder member of a music school formed in 1974 called Loughborough Music Tuition and when the music school moved premises in 1981 was renamed Charnwood Music Tuition.
Lots of different instruments were taught at the school including all the woodwind and brass instruments, piano, organ and electronic keyboards, singing, violin, drums and guitar. When the music school was at its peak over 400 people a week attended lessons but sadly the school disbanded in 2004 but I stayed on at the premises teaching guitar until I moved to new premises in Ashby road in 2008.
I have also taught guitar at the following establishments Longslade Community College and Stonehill High schools in Birstall 2 years, Burliegh Community College 1 year and Loughborough University 1 year.
