CGD Landscape Design

Helen and Sally are talented and respected designers, working across both the disciplines of garden designers and landscape architects. Our work ranges from creating very intimate and personal gardens in small spaces to extensive country estates to public spaces. Typical of our commercial commissions, was a project to harvest rainwater for the owners of a commercial nursery, designing an ornamental lake which doubles as the water store for irrigating the produce in the nursery.

The practise specialises in providing a comprehensive and personalised service for both private and corporate clients in the UK and overseas. Working from their studio in West London, Helen and Sally have built up an impressive and varied portfolio of projects - ranging from large country estates to city gardens, from courtyards to roof gardens, from family gardens to public parks.

Our design philosophy combines the functional with the artistic to create inspired and sustainable gardens for our residential landscape projects. We embrace the local characteristics and conditions to develop design solutions which are sympathetic and can be surprising in their simplicity.

Our garden designs are as varied as their owners and locations, from contemporary and cutting edge designs to the more traditional or even historic interpretations.
