Andy graduated from Southampton University with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy three years after achieving a 1st class honours degree in Sport & Exercise Science at Cheltenham & Gloucester College of Higher Education. Having worked within the Poole NHS trust in Dorset, Andy returned to his roots and developed a private practice that has expanded to become the chain, Central Somerset Physiotherapy.

Prior to gaining qualifications at degree level Andy pursued a career in the fitness industry as a fitness instructor, RSA Exercise to Music instructor, ASA Swimming instructor and GP referral coordinator. It is from this background that he developed a keen interest in Sports Injuries as well as Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic physiotherapy. Andy's spare time is largely taken up by his young family and sport. Having represented Great Britain as a youth and junior in the sport of triathlon he continues to participate concentrating on half ironman and cycle sportive events.
