We are a family run firm who have been operating out of our workshop in Bishops Castle, Shropshire since 1989. Joseph and James have taken the reigns from their Father Thomas Martin, and Uncle Jeremy Bryce-Smith and continue with the skills that have been passed on.

Castlewood specialise in bespoke architectural joinery and cabinet making and pride ourselves on quality of work and attention to detail. Using a mixture of traditional and modern methods we can provide a high level of craftsmanship to your joinery needs. Whether it is your dream kitchen, a new front door, replacement sash windows, a staircase or a large-scale green oak extension, the process starts with a desire to use quality timber from well-managed, local, and sustainable sources.
