Caring Cuts is a hospital hairdressing service based in Welwyn Garden City. We offer this unique hairdressing service to residential care homes, nursing homes, care centres and hospitals. The business owner, Bernadette Haughian trained and qualified as a hairdresser at Robert Fielding's of Regent Street back in 1983. She now has over 27 years experience in both ladies men's hairdressing. After a break from hairdressing (while bringing up her children) she started working in the care industry.

With a father in law suffering from Vascular Dementia and a mother in law who lived with her and had mental health problems, Bernadette already had experience in this area. She has also undergone training on dementia awareness, health and safety and moving and handing for dealing with this clientele. She then developed the understanding and patience required to deal with people in care and in the new business she did both hair and nails for patients and residents.
