Care 4 Pets

Jon and Alison had a pair of cats, three dogs and various small animals, so they recognised the difficulties as well as the satisfaction of living with pets. Returning from family holidays had highlighted the need for an alternative for the pets' care, as a dog returning from kennels would often appear quiet and upset for some time afterwards, whilst the cats would be aloof and react as if they hadn't been fed at all, ever, (OK, so it's hard to tell with a cat).

Although it's nice to be able to call on the help of friends or neighbours no-one wants to impose or demand too much. So Care 4 Pets was launched. Initially Care 4 Pets' services were limited to home boarding and house visits in Barry, Dinas Powis and Penarth, but soon they found that a lot of people were feeling the same way about their pet's care and readily welcomed the option of having a paid pet carer to ease their concerns.

Care 4 Pets expanded, first into Cardiff and then across South Wales from Newport to Swansea.
