Every year over 300,000 animals go astray in the Uk alone, nearly all of these pets will at some point be picked up and put into a pound, if they are lucky their owners will have had them microchipped and can be returned quickly. Most pounds give strays 5-7 days to be reclaimed then they can either be rehomed from the pound or offered to rescues to be rehomed. The really unlucky ones, if not reclaimed or offered rescue space, will be put to sleep.
My name is Louise and I will happily board any size or breed of dog for you, I have three dogs, Suzi, Rio and Mojo, I also have four cats Poppy, Smidge, Midnight and Biscuit. I live with my partner Carl we both love animals and enjoy spending time with them. I am the co-founder of Luna Animal Rescue and as such assess dogs and their new owners. I also do all of the microchipping as all the dogs need to be chipped before they go to their new homes. All dogs are safely transported in my car which is equiped with dog crates for complete safety. In May 2011 I passed the Pet First Aid course, I have put the certificate on the Contact page.
