Callander Physiotherapy Practice

Callander Physiotherapy is run by Chartered Physiotherapist, Mairi Menzies. Mairi has over 30 years of experience in Physiotherapy both in the NHS and in Private Practice. She developed an interest in outdoor sports injuries early in her career and worked part time at Inverclyde National Sports Training Centre while running practices in Greenock and Fairlie. A move to Callander 19 years ago, led to the opening of Callander Physiotherapy where she has had the pleasure of developing a busy practice to meet the needs of an active population. She is trained in Acupuncture and Pilates and uses these to compliment her other physiotherapy skills. When not working, she enjoys hill walking, ski touring, running and a bit of painting. Jo has over 24 years’ experience in physiotherapy. After graduation, she spent a year working in Chicago then returned to the rain and the UK to continue her career. She spent 3 years working in Burns and Plastic Surgery, has experience in Rheumatology and Sports Injuries. Jo now works part time in the community with the NHS. We are delighted to have her depth of experience at Callander Physiotherapy. Out of work Jo is actively involved with her church youth group and sunday school. She enjoys being outdoors, walking her dog, and the remainder of her spare time is taken up providing a taxi service for her busy teenagers!
