We produce printed material for a range of customers, from large multinational publishers and pharmaceutical companies to small self publishers. These customers are serviced from our modern plant in Thetford, Norfolk, Great Britain, 80 miles north of London. We also work closely with our U.S. affiliate, Vicks, litho and digital print, in Upstate New York, sharing customers and files across the Atlantic.
Caligraving has been involved in book production since 1956, specialising in music and educational books. More recently, with the development of our pharmaceutical business, we have added training manuals, instructional leaflets and reel fed labels to our product range. We are not restricted to standard book sizes, so we can offer a variety of specialist music and educational formats.
Our state of the art pre-press area, offers fully automated processing and proofing of customer PDF files, as well as the technology and skill to scan and reproduce back list titles ready to be printed on either our offset litho or digital book printing lines. Our bindery offers a complete range of finishing options and binding styles, including saddle stitching, perfect binding, wire-O, thread sealing and thread sewing. We also offer the option of layflat sewn binding, ideal for music books which need to stay open on the music stand.
