Hello, my name is Sarima (the Sugar Fairy) and I have been baking and decorating cakes for more than 20 years as a hobby. I recently took the decision to try and turn my long time hobby into a small business venture. As I am based in Stockton-on-Tees, I am trying to provide a service in the Teesside area though I am able to provide and deliver cakes further afield if required.
Having received many compliments from family and friends about the quality of my baking and cake decorating skills, this gave me the confidence to go ahead with this venture.
Initially I was self taught but have improved my cake decorating skills by attending further education classes, workshops and most recently by becoming an active member of the British Sugarcraft Guild (Darlington branch). As part of my venture, I have recently been awarded 5 stars for excellent standards of hygiene by Stockton Borough Council Environmental Health Office.
