Burncliffe Electrical Ltd, electricians based in Hexham Northumberland, was formed in December 2001 - previously John Cunningham Electrical Contractor, which had been established for 40 years. We took over all the existing electrical professionals, of which many are still with us today. The Directors were Mr Edwin Wilkinson (Managing Director), Mr Philip Wilkinson (Director) and Mrs Christine Pearson (Director). Edwin Wilkinson retired in October 2008 after selling his share of the business to his son Philip Wilkinson and Christine Pearson.
We still hold the old values of John Cunningham throughout the organisation - including a 4 year apprenticeship scheme of which the majority stay with the company. We look on our staff as members of our extended family with the pastoral side of the business playing a large part of re-training staff.
