Co-owned by Stuart Nicholson and Dave Coltherd, we have one simple philosophy: to be the creators of the latest trends, colours and styles. Since we opened in Newport way back in 1983, we have grown to be one of the most highly-regarded salons in the UK.

Since we opened in Newport way back in 1983, we have grown to be one of the most highly-regarded salons in the UK. Our Art Team, photo studios and training academy are frequently used by companies such as Goldwell and ghd (Burlesque were part of the pioneering official ghd regional training academy system).
We hold seminars, events, cutting demos and photo shoots; and have featured in national hair magazines such as:- Hair Magazine and Your Hair. We've also worked at London Fashion Week along side KMS for Bora Aksu, KTZ and Welsh-born designer Elliott J. Frieze who asked us to style and create for his latest collection and we were only too happy to help.
