Being ‘afraid of the dentist’ means different things to different people. We know it sometimes isn’t easy to dress dental treatment up as ‘fun’ but please be assured we do everything we can to make your visits as comfortable and stress-free as we can. We are extremely gentle and non-judgmental. Anxious patients are treated with respect and understanding. We fully recognise the impact bad childhood experiences can have on your tolerance of treatment and we have lots of strategies to help you.

Our dentists and hygienists are dental health experts who want to reduce the harm caused to you by tooth decay, gum disease and tooth wear. There is a growing body of scientific evidence strongly linking poor mouth health with many systemic diseases including Diabetes and Cardiovascular Disease, so improving dental health is now even more important than before.

As well as the common dental diseases, we always screen you for mouth cancer at our comprehensive dental health check. For your peace of mind, we do not use amalgam (mercury fillings).

Not all of us are lucky enough to have inherited a naturally beautiful smile and smiles are sometimes damaged by decay, wear and accidents. We want you to have the confidence to smile and laugh without worrying about how your teeth look.
