Buckingham Acupuncture

I am a fully qualified Acupuncturist trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture. I have completed a Bachelor of Science degree course achieving a BSc Hons, at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, Reading and received a Licentiate in Acupuncture (Lic Ac). As a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists I abide by their code of ethics, safe practice and I am fully Insured. I am passionate about helping my patients to achieve optimal health.

Traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture helps to restore and maintain the body's natural flow of energy. Modern technology has also shown that the human brain responds to acupuncture which in turn helps balance the mind and body.

Alongside acupuncture, I use a range of other techniques during the treatment, such as acupressure massage, cupping therapy, moxibustion (the use of a herb called mugwort) which is an invaluable technique for warming and nourishing the body in certain conditions.

Most people experience improvements after their first acupuncture session. For long term or chronic conditions, weekly sessions are usually recommended.
