Brighton Insurance Group is the name for the combined operations of D.F. Edmonds & Co and Grant Smith. D.F.Edmonds & Co was founded in 1972 and was acquired by Alan Hemsley and Kevin Clark when Doug Edmonds retired in 1999. Alan and Kevin have been with the company for a combined total of over 50 years. Grant Smith was founded in 1972 by Robin Smith and in 2007 joined forces with D.F.Edmonds & Co to form the Brighton Insurance Group.

Since 1972 both companies have built a reputation for offering an informed and professional service to industrial, commercial and personal clients in Brighton and throughout the UK.
