Blythe Building Consultants are a leading building consultancy offering a range of services in Staffordshire and Cheshire, Derbyshire and the West Midlands. These services include sulphate(red ash) floor testing and wall tie surveys. All our surveys and testing are carried out by trained staff who have many years experience in wall tie surveys and sulphate floor testing. Blythe Building Consultants was formed in 1992 but have vast experience in sulphate floor testing work in the Staffordshire and Cheshire area since 1976. Surveyors are recommended by the Building Research Establishment to check properties built up to and including 1972 although most properties built after 1970 are unlikely to indicate problems. Domestic properties most likely to be at risk from sulphate attack were generally built between 1946 and 1972 although a small number of properties built during WW2 (1939/45) could also be at risk.
