We teach children and adults - students train in class groups tailored to suit their age and ability. The lessons are held in a disciplined, fun and respectful environment. AKS has a high standard of belt gradings and a successful National Level Squad. Advanced students have access to teaching opportunities, national coach and referee qualifications and England selections. AKS Chief Instructor Sensei Anthony Barrett 5th Dan has over 30 years of experience. A former member of the England Squad, English, British and International medallist. EKF Coach Accredited, DBS, Sports First Aid certificated and Public Liability insured. AKS is a registered association with the English Karate Federation (EKF) Governing Body.
