Diane qualified as a physiotherapist in 1978. She worked in the NHS and became experienced in general physiotherapy before specialising in joint and muscular injuries. She worked as travelling physiotherapist for the British Alpine Ski team between 1982 and 1984 attending the winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
Subsequently, Diane worked in the United States for 5 years and developed expertise in the treatment of sports injuries and orthopaedic problems before returning to the UK in 1989 to start her own private practice in Long Ashton. Diane completed a Masters degree in Sports Medicine and rehabilitation from the University of the West of England in the year 2000.
