BH&S Insurance Services Ltd was formed in 2003 when three local and well established firms merged. A year later Mid Devon Insurance also joined BH&S. Whilst we are based in Tiverton and most of our clients are local we have clients throughout the UK. We pride ourselves in our service, independence and professional advice.

It is important to realise the value of the advice we provide as we use our expertise to ensure the suitability of the product we recommend. Many direct and internet insurers and even some intermediaries do not provide advised sales and leave it to the client to check the policy is suitable for them. Any errors are then often only discovered when a claim is declined. Our independence means we are free to use the whole market, either direct with Insurers, at Lloyd’s of London via specialist brokers or on schemes designed especially for certain trades and professions. This means we are normally considering a wider choice of Insurer before making a recommendation to you. We deal with all types of commercial insurance including commercial package, commercial combined, property owners, farm, motor trade, fleet and contractors from one man bands to firms with multi million pound turnovers.
