I now choose to specialise in my artwork and portraiture and I welcome visits to my studio if you are interested in viewing my work or just having a coffee. I have a super, custom built, very relaxing studio attached to my award winning home in the lovely town of Coldstream in the Beautiful Scottish Borders.
I've lived in the beautiful Scottish Borders for the past 20 years, after a childhood in Leeds then living and working all over, including Asia and Africa. I've been involved with many different aspects of photography all my working life and it has got me into many strange and exciting places. Portraits and Art work are my main areas: you can view my involvement on the relevant areas of this site. PHOTOGRAPHER Barbara Berkowitz is inviting groups and individuals to visit her studio next month to share each others' thoughts and ideas on portrait photography.
Along with the commercial work there was often business portraiture with it. I was doing a business portrait for a client whose son, who was about 10 or 11 years old at the time, had come along and he joined in and the session was such a success she suggested I did more portrait photography.
