Our aim is to get to know you, to deliver timely and individual advice on your business and personal affairs.Benten & Co. has been established in Saffron Walden for over sixty years. From a small base the firm has grown considerably, particularly since the early 1980’s. We now employ eighteen staff and are one of the largest accountancy practices based in the Saffron Walden area.Most of our staff have been with the firm for five years or more, which results in continuity in dealing with client’s affairs.We act for well over eighteen hundred clients of differing sizes - from individual tax returns and self employed subcontractors to the audit of more substantial limited companies. Although most of our clients are based within twenty miles of our office, we also deal with many clients who live elsewhere in the country or abroad.We hold ‘Registered Auditor’ status and so are not restricted in the type of work we can carry out.We give honest advice regarding the set up of a new business and do our best to explain what is sometimes an illogical tax system. Our initial meeting with any new client is normally free.
