SARAH WALKER, Practice Principal, has been a qualified chartered physiotherapist for 27 years. After gaining experience in various specialities she opted initially to concentrate on her interest in neurological rehabilitation and was the senior and sole physiotherapist in the Young disabled Unit in Derby for 2 years. She then moved to work at the new Ilkeston hospital where she developed an interest in musculoskeletal problems. She furthered her postgraduate training by attending the year long Manual therapy course at Sheffield Polytechnic. At the same time she and 2 colleagues set up the Derby Sports Injury Clinic at Derby Hospital.
