We are a well established Chartered Architects practice located in Castle Cary, Somerset since 1987. We have completed many projects in that time largely in the residential field including housing association developments, major refurbishments and extensions, new private dwellings and country houses. A number of these projects have involved work to Listed Buildings or to properties within Conservation Areas. The projects are designed to respond to the context of their particular locations, owners aspirations in terms of quality of space, design and comfort. Low maintenance costs and environmentally responsive design are priorities in the development of a project. The Practice is a former winner of an RIBA Regional Award and the Home Building and Renovating/Daily Telegraph House of the Year Award for Long Barton near Ottery St Mary in Devon. Nigel was also commissioned to write a practical guidebook 'Converting Old Buildings into New Homes' in 2004.
