Maria set up the salon with her sister Selina in 2004. Maria was one of the first therapists to bring Lash Extensions to Bedfordshire after training with Nouveau Lashes and is a Dermalogica Expert Therapist (Dermalogica’s highest training standard). Maria has been lucky enough to attend the Dermalogica Symposium in Los Angeles in 2012, as well as being selected for several Inspirational Dermalogica Networking Lunches enabling her to bring lots of knowledge and fresh ideas to the salon. Selina set up Beauty of Bedford with her sister Maria back in 2004, after gaining valuable experience from her time working at one of Bedfordshire’s most prestigious spas. Originally a Nail Technician, before continuing her training to become a Beauty Therpaist, Selina is now a Dermalogica Expert Therapist (Dermalogica’s highest training standard) and maintained links with Barnfield College, where she attained her NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy Certificate, by becoming a member of their Industry Liaison Panel.
