If you need advice in any category of law and you live, work or study in the London Borough of Barnet, then please phone the Barnet Citizens Advice Bureau help line on 0844 826 9336 (from a landline) or 0300 456 8365 (from a mobile). Unfortunately government changes mean that Legal Aid is no longer available for most types of employment, immigration or welfare benefits cases. Legal Aid is only available for Asylum cases, but is no longer available for most other types of Immigration cases.

Legal Aid is not available for any Welfare Benefits cases apart for appeal to the Upper Tribunal. For assistance with appeals to the Upper Tribunal, please visit the Law Centres Network website or call 0300 365 3030. If you are an existing client of Barnet Law Service, you will shortly be contacted regarding the final steps to be taken on your file and you will receive a letter explaining about the closure of the law centre. All of your original documents will be returned to you.
