Trained in the audit department of a big four firm in Manchester. Qualified in 2003. After 3.5 years in audit moved into industry in a Group Accountant role of a listed global manufacturing company. Spent 5 years working in group and European accounting roles before joining my father's practice in 2009.Articled in a North West practice between 1961 and 1967 before spending a year in industry in a Chief Accountant role. Moved to BAe Lostock in 1968. After 25 years in industry set up his own practice in 1992 specialising in small business and individual tax advice.
