Baker St Bikes was established in 2000 by owners Chris Balchin and Richard Holkham. Chris comes from a strong engineering background working as an engineer for British Aerospace building Harrier Jets. He was also a very successful rally driver. Now his interest is in Tall bikes. Check out the tall bike page. Spot him cycling to work on the tall green one! Richard had a highly successful cycle racing career and is known for his wheel building. In April 2011 Richard retired and Chris continues to build and grow the business into what you see today. The shop has grown on recommendations because of our highly skilled mechanics and our aim to try and fix anything the best way we can. We aim to please every customer in a friendly and professional environment. We aim to carry out repairs to the highest standard.
