John trained in London at the Whittington Hospital (North London School of Physiotherapy), qualifying in 1986.He worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for twelve years specialising in back pain and sports related injuries in a range of N.H.S. London hospitals.During this time John realised the benefits of acupuncture and became a member of the A.A.C.P. (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists).In 1999 John opened the Back Pain Clinic in Hawkin Street (Article Derry Journal, 2000) where he continues to provide a high quality service to his clients.
