Avant Garde Hair Salon

Avant Garde has grown from rented spaces in health clubs to 2 stunning independent salons & growing. Ian&Naomi started out back in 2003, opening a small 3 station salon at Cannons Health Club (now Nuffield). Ian felt Naomi was so busy as a mobile stylist, it would be safer if she could work from her own space. As Ian was working at cannons he negotiated, what was the start of something special so at the age of 19&20 the first Avant Garde opened.

Two years later, thanks to excellent growth, & our first taste of employment, we opened our second salon, also in a health club in Dudley. It was then in 2005, Ian left the security of his full time job, to be involved in the business full time. After a further 2 years of growth, Ian&Naomi wanted more. They identified the need to break away from health clubs & into their own space outright.
