I have worked with The Mortgage Brain since July 2010 through to the present, the years after the credit crunch have been spent helping clients prove their income where previously lenders gave the opportunity to self certify income to gain mortgages. I became a fully independent mortgage broker in November 2007 when I joined Chartwell Funding in Bristol, previous to this I was working with the Chelsea Building Society as a mortgage information officer. I have been involved with mortgages since 2003 and so there is little that I have not experienced across those 13 years. I have always had a passion for business and finance since I was young. A degree in Economics lead me into banking and I remain within the financial services industry today. If I were not a mortgage broker I would expect to work within the commercial lending units of one of our banks, or at the outside lecturing on UK economics.
