I was born in York in 1981 and have lived here for the majority of my life. I'm from a large family who are mostly based in York. I think my love for helping people comes from always being around my family and having a great mix of friends from childhood. My work background has always been customer-focused, which includes working in hotels, bars, offices and contact centres. I've always known that my career would be people-orientated.

My work background has always been customer-focused, which includes working in hotels, bars, offices and contact centres. I've always known that my career would be people-orientated. My interest in massage started from simply giving my colleagues a simple shoulder rub in the office.

Some commented on how good I was, and then word spread. Soon enough, I was getting requests for frequent shoulder massages. Then in early 2014, I got an opportunity to attend a Level 2 ITEC course in Complimentary Therapy, which I really enjoyed and found very intriguing. Following this course I decided that I wanted to qualify as a professional masseur, so I took a Level 3 VTCT course in Body Massage. Again I loved the course content and passed with ease.
