Philip has over 30 years clinical experience. He initially studied Pathology specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion where he attained Fellowship status. He then re-trained as a Chiropractor on a 4 year full-time course at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic to become a Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating in 1990 and he is GCC Registered. At said College his research was published in such prestigious scientific journals as "Spine" and the "Journal of Anatomy".
On your First visit Consultation you will have a full Case History, Neurological and Orthopaedic examination and treatment, unless futher tests are deemed to necessary such as X-Rays or MRI scan, or the consultation has demonstrated you are not suitable for Chiropractic or Acupuncture treatment and then referral to your G.P. will be advised.
Philip qualified as a Medical Acupuncturist with the Active Acupuncturists in General Practice and Hospital Association in 1998 and has undertaken further study to become registered with the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) in 2008. The BMAS members are mainly G.P.s or Hospital Consultants that are aware of the potential benefits of Acupuncture treatment. Philip has also attained the BMAS Electrotherapy Certificate in 2009 and the BMAS National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) Back Pain Certificate 2010.
