Ardgarth Guest House

Ardgarth Guest House is a warm and comfortable family run Guest House in Edinburgh's seaside suburb of Portobello, with free parking and popular High Street. Portobello is a most relaxing location for a bed and breakfast beside the sea yet convenient for the city centre by frequent bus service. A gentle walk along our mile long promenade is a lovely way to unwind after a hard days rubbernecking! You can pop into our local bistro The Espy for delicious mezze or fish and chips or sit outside the Dalriada pub and drink local beers and listen to live music.

The house has been tastefully adapted from a large Victorian family house with a variety of well-proportioned en-suite rooms to suite couples, friends, family groups of up to four, and the independent single traveller.

We have two fully accessible rooms on the ground floor, and were honoured to be given the Leonard Cheshire Award for excellence of accessibility in 2005.
